Dr. Kavanaugh serves as an advisor to Acelot. He is a biotechnology and pharmaceutical executive and physician with 40 years experience in research, preclinical drug development, clinical trials, and patient care. He currently serves as the Independent Director of AmMax Bio., Inc., Founding Advisor of EpiBiologics, a Member of the Scientific Advisory Board for CytomX Therapeutics, and a Biotech, Pharma and Venture Consultant. He also served as the Senior Vice President, Chief Scientific Officer, and Head of Non-Clinical Development at CytomX. Previously, he was Senior Vice President and Chief Scientific Officer of Five Prime Therapeutics.

Dr. Kavanaugh holds an MD from Vanderbilt University and a BS in Molecular Biochemistry and Biophysics from Yale University.
