Valarie Truax, PhD, is Vice President, Business Development and Corporate Strategy. She has extensive experience in business development, corporate strategy, and small-molecule drug discovery. Prior to her time at Acelot, Valarie served as Vice President, Head of Business Development and Corporate Strategy at Reverie Labs. Before her role at Reverie Labs, Valarie worked as an Associate Director of Business Development at Nimbus Therapeutics and a Business Development Associate at Yale Ventures. She also served as a Post Doctoral Fellow at Bristol Myers Squibb and Emory University.

Dr. Truax holds a PhD in Chemistry, an MBA in Finance from Emory University and MSc in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Georgetown University.
